Brief DescriptionClofilium tosylate is a potassium channel blocker, induces apoptosis on human promyelocytic leukemia (HL-60) cells.
-
DescriptionClofilium tosylate is a potassium channel blocker, induces apoptosis on human promyelocytic leukemia (HL-60) cells.(In Vitro):Treatment with 0-20 μM Clofilium inhibits viability and proliferation in a time- and concentration-dependent manner in HL-60 cells. Cell viability is significantly reduced in HL-60 cells treated with 2.5 μM to 10 μM Clofilium After 12 hours. Treatment with 10 μM Clofilium induces the proteolytic cleavage of inactive procaspase-3, p34 into its active form, p17 and subsequent cleavage of its substrate PARP. However, the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins does not change significantly.

TKIM
TKIM is a TWIK-related potassium channel 1 (TREK-1) inhibitor, binding to the pocket of the intermediate (IM) state of TREK-1.TKIM binds to the pocket of the IM state of TREK-1, which differs from the binding of common inhibitors, which bind to channels in the inactive state.?

Retigabine dihydroch...
Retigabine dihydrochloride is an anticonvulsant used as an adjunctive treatment for partial epilepsies in treatment-experienced adult patients.?The mechanism of action involves opening of neuronal K(V)7.2-7.5 (formerly KCNQ2-5) voltage-activated K(+) channels. In differentiated PC12 cells, retigabine enhanced a linopirdine-sensitive current.?
